I will be retiring in 10 years, and we had been dreaming to travel many places in the world and if possible live abroad for certain period after retirement.  Thailand is one of our candiate destinations.

Franjipani is run as a resort, we can rent our rooms as hotel room, and the rental income covers running and maintenance costs unlike some other time share schemes.  It was a totally new model in 2007 when we signed a contract, however, since then we have seen increasing number of resort projects have adapted this model, as it fits perfectly with market needs where there are some restrictions of Thai property ownership by foreigners.  Even though we join the rental programme, we are still entitled to use our own units for a few weeks a year for holiday.

Huahin is a very popular destination for Europeans especially among Skandinavians.  Home exchange is very common in Europe to realize quality holiday at reasonable costs.  Franjipani is also easy to manage such exchange as it is run as resort hotel.  We are hoping to realize such life we will be living many places around the world through exchanging our homes with people all over the world.
