It used to take over 3 hours from Bangkok to Hua Hin but thanks to ongoing highway expansion project, it usually takes approx 2.5 hrs from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Hua Hin and just over 2 hrs from downtown Bangkok to Hua Hin if the traffic in Bangkok area is not too bad.
