Hua Hin Centennial Invitation with Maria Sharapova VS Venus Williams
On 02 January 2010, as part of the 100th anniversary of Hua Hin Municipality celebration will take place tennis match between Maria Sharapova and Venus Williams. This event is being organised by the Lawn Tennis Association of Thailand under the patronage of His Majesty the King with the support of Hua Hin Municipality.
The friendly tennis match will take place on a specially prepared temporary tennis court at the Hua Hin Centennial Park. It is expected that the match will be watched by estimated crowd of 4,000 people. After their singles match, Maria and Venus will combine with local stars Paradorn Srichaphan and Danai Udomchoke for a set of mixed doubles. This teenis event is expected boost Hua Hin’s tourism.
