Phetchaburi Summer Palace

An hour drive north of Hua Hin to the ancient city of Phetchaburi. We will visit “Phra Nakhon Khiri“ or “Khao Wang” the first palace in Thailand built on the top of the hill, in the reign of King Rama IV (King Mongkut) the famous King in film “Anna and the King of Siam” where we can see the fantastic view of the city. Then we will explored the “Khao Luang Cave “ housing 170 Buddha statues. Then we visit the ancient Khmer temple “Wat Mahathtat” date back over 1,000 years old. Where we can see the beautiful Khmer & Thai architecture decorated with the handmade stucco, Phetchaburi famous as the school of Thai Traditional Arts. And we have time to visit the day market in Petchaburi town. Lunch will be included.
